The LGBTQ+ and Allies Employee Network Engages, Empowers Employees and Communities

Life at Arch

The LGBTQ+ and Allies Employee Network’s mission is to support and empower our LGBTQ+ employees, promote the recruitment of LGBTQ+ candidates, offer cultural education and awareness opportunities, and contribute to the LGBTQ+ community through outreach and volunteerism.

The ‘+’ sign is used to recognize all identities and sexual orientations used by those in the LGBTQ+ community.

“Our members are what make us special,” says the network’s Co-Chair Jake Rochell. “From community members to allies, they are what make us unique.”

The group’s vision is to enhance the organization’s diverse and inclusive work culture by engaging and empowering our colleagues, trading partners and communities.

The group develops programming that celebrates, recognizes and elevates the voices of the LGBTQ+ community, creating impactful partnerships that connect to LGBTQ+ topics of interest and volunteer with LGBTQ+ focused organizations.

“Arch’s support of LGBTQ+ colleagues — providing a safe space to be their authentic selves at work — is amazing,” Jake adds.

While significant strides have been made toward fostering diversity and inclusion within our organization, it is clear our journey is far from complete. Ensuring these values are deeply embedded in every facet of our operations remains a top priority. Employee Networks play a critical role in furthering this collective mission.
