Medical
We provide comprehensive coverage via CG Insurance and/or Cigna, which includes a co-pay that never exceeds $20. There are different arrangements for Local Nationals and Expats, but all eligible employees have access to major medical, dental, vision, life insurance and more.
Pension Plans
Local Nationals and Non-U.S. Expats: We pay 10% (both the 5% employer and 5% employee portion) of your pension up to $20,000 annually and cover all the pension administration fees. Employees can also elect to make voluntary contributions of up to 10% of monthly salary and/or bonus.
U.S. Expats: We will match the first 3% of your contributions at 100% and the next 3% at 50% up to the current year’s IRS limits.
Educational
Education Assistance: Arch supports and encourages employees to continue their education to secure increased responsibility and growth within their professional careers.
Exam Designation Awards: All employees are eligible for education expense reimbursement for job-related courses, Insurance/Reinsurance exams (CPCU, ARe, AINS, ARM and IIA studies) as well as for the CFA designation and others.

Financial Well-Being and Support
Employee Share Purchase Program: Employees can purchase company stock at a 15% discount twice per year.
Charity Gift-Matching Program: We will match employee donations to eligible charitable organizations up to $25,000 annually.
Adoption Assistance Program: Employees can apply for financial support for expenses related to adopting a child.
Employee Referral Program: Employees who refer to Human Resources qualified candidates for an open position can receive $3,000 to $5,000 (depending on the position) if the candidate is hired.
Leave
Holidays: In addition to the Bermuda Statutory holiday allowance, Arch celebrates (and closes for) the following U.S. holidays: Independence Day and Thanksgiving Day.
Maternity and Parental Leave: Mothers are eligible for a combined 17 weeks of paid leave, comprising 13 weeks of maternity leave and four weeks of parental leave for the birth, adoption or fostering of a child. Fathers are granted up to four weeks of paid leave as well.
Short-Term Disability: We extend support for employees facing short-term disability by covering 100% of their salary for a three-month period upon receipt of a doctor’s note. In cases of long-term disability, the coverage continues at 66% of the salary until the age of 65, pending medical approval.
Volunteer Days: The company encourages community engagement by offering two paid workdays annually for Volunteer Time Off.
Travel and Other Perks
Hotels: Employees can enjoy preferred rates from select hotels internationally.
Car rentals: If renting a car in U.S. or Canada for business purposes, you are covered for liability insurance and can decline this addition from the rental company.
Car buying: Employees can get up to 5% off the purchase of a new vehicle at Bermuda Motors Ltd. (select vehicles only).
Insurance: Employees can get a 10% discount on motor, home contents or home buildings insurance.
Wellness Benefits
Employees can enjoy convenient fitness opportunities, with a 24/7 on-site gym featuring a variety of classes, weights and yoga. Employees registered with Zest Wellness can also access free yoga, spinning, rowing and HIT classes at Courthouse Gym.
