Arch Underwriters Inc. (AUI) is a licensed property and casualty insurance agency and an affiliate of Arch Insurance Company. AUI will act as the managing general agent for the business being acquired from Allianz.

Soundview Claims Solutions Inc. (Soundview) is a third-party administrator (TPA) and affiliate of Arch Insurance Company. Soundview will act as the claims administrator for the acquired business. Adjusters joining Arch from Allianz as part of the transaction will be providing services through and on behalf of Soundview and will use @soundviewclaims.com email addresses.

Yes. As your company has been advised, to the extent they relate to the business Arch is acquiring from Allianz, your prior agreements in place with Allianz were assigned to AUI effective at closing.

No. Base commission structure will remain the same. Some agents are part of an incentive compensation plan connected with Allianz. We will keep this incentive compensation plan in place for the remainder of 2024 and evaluate alternative options for 2025.

We will use the same products, rates, services and underwriting guidelines as previously used by Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and its subsidiaries. Over time, we will evaluate opportunities to enhance products, rates, services and underwriting guidelines to address market needs, as well as segments designated for growth or improvement. We will communicate any changes as they occur.

Your current MidCorp and Entertainment underwriters are joining Arch from Allianz as part of the acquisition, so you will be working with the same teams and individuals as you did before closing of the transaction. These employees will be providing services on behalf of AUI. Most underwriter emails follow the structure of [email protected]. For example, Jane Doe’s email would likely be [email protected]. All underwriter phone numbers remain the same. Shortly after closing, underwriters will be reaching out to their key contacts to confirm direct contact information. We do not anticipate any disruption in your day-to-day relationships or methods of transacting business. Continuity is extremely important to us and we expect very little change in the customer experience.

You will report a claim through the same process that you used prior to closing. Reporting instructions remain unchanged and are outlined on each policy. If your claims were handled through a TPA, they will remain with that same TPA after closing. There will be no changes to your TPA’s contact information or reporting procedures.

Existing users can continue to use My Allianz Commercial, which will not be rebranded. We will communicate any changes to access or functionality as they occur.
