In 2020, Faith Mason, who is Vice President of Strategic Analytics, won the “35 Under 35 RISE Award,” an honor given to young professionals who are making an impact on the insurance industry, in their company and in their communities.

Receiving the award unearthed a passion in Faith that she’s been pursuing ever since.

Faith joined Insurance Cares — a nonprofit branch of RISE — as the diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) committee Chair and in her first year as a leader of the group, helped create the “DEI On the RISE” scholarship in 2022. “We’re really focused on bringing diverse individuals — from all walks of life — into the insurance industry,” she explained.

The DEI On the Rise scholarships are awarded in $1,000 increments to juniors and seniors who are interested in insurance careers. “We wanted to capitalize on that interest and provide resources that they can use for anything related to their college career,” Faith explained.

Support for the DEI on the RISE scholarship program has continued to grow, providing more scholarships to students than the year prior.

Arch has an established relationship with RISE as a corporate member.

Employees like Faith continue to advocate for the organization, encouraging education and support for expanding diversity in the insurance industry.

RISE, which stands for Rising Insurance Star Executives, is an organization committed to investing in the next generation of insurance professionals, offering networking, resources and a support system for young professionals just starting their careers.

Insurance Cares is an organization committed to creating a future in the insurance industry where companies are more reflective of the communities in which their employees live and serve.
