This policy is guided by the principles expressed in the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Arch Capital Group Ltd. and its subsidiaries (collectively, “Arch” or the “Company”) are committed to respecting the rights of all individuals in our value chain. This Human Rights Policy (“Policy”) sets forth standards for global business conduct related to human rights and labor for our Company, including all our employees and suppliers.* In developing this Policy, we considered the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

General Principles

We believe in treating everyone with dignity and fairness and demonstrate our ongoing support for equal opportunity, diversity and inclusion in our workforce, as reflected in our Code of Business Conduct PDF. Our Code of Business Conduct specifically provides, “The Company is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all Employees and prospective Employees in every facet of its operations. Governance

This Policy is reviewed by senior management and is published on our Company’s website.

Each year, we implement this Policy by requiring all directors and employees throughout the control group, to read, understand and adhere to the provisions contained in the Code of Business Conduct. In addition, these provisions are reinforced through online training that all employees and directors are required to complete. With respect to our suppliers, we are rolling out our Supplier Code of Conduct to both new vendors and legacy vendors through contract renewals and requesting that they commit to conducting business according to the highest legal and ethical standards, as outlined in our Supplier Code.
