Arch is proud to be named to the U.S. News & World Report list of Best Companies to Work For 2024–2025. We made this list last year, too. But our recognitions don’t stop here; we’re also an S&P 500 company. Our employees work hard and smart. Our accomplishments are a direct result of our performance, and our performance is a reflection of our people. We hire the best and do our part to help our employees develop to their full potential. Besides offering competitive salaries, we offer generous benefits that set us apart. Check out the highlights of our benefits package on this page, or explore open positions.
The Benefits that Set Us Apart
Not Your Average 401(k)
Arch makes a non-discretionary matching contribution of 100% of the first 3% of your eligible compensation and 50% of the next 3% of your eligible compensation. In other words, employees who contribute 6% of their eligible compensation to the plan receive a 4.5% matching contribution. We also provide fixed non-elective contributions of 5% of your eligible compensation up to the Social Security Taxable Wage Base and 10% of your eligible compensation in excess of the Social Security Taxable Wage Base, subject to annual government limitations.
Investing in Your Education
If you’re still in school, have been considering going back to school or are interested in continuing education classes or certifications, we can help you pay for it. Get up to $5,250 reimbursed in your first and second year at Arch, and $7,500 in your third, fourth and fifth years, with an additional $2,500 for approved graduate courses eligible at 5 years of service. There is additional support for insurance exams, too.
Student Loan Payback Assistance
Under the Student Loan Assistance Program, Arch will contribute $250 monthly — $3,000 a year — to supplement your regular principal payments on your student loan. You can also choose to refinance at competitive rates.
Money for Causes You Care About
When it comes to charitable giving, Arch will match eligible contributions dollar-for-dollar to qualified charitable organizations, up to $25,000 per employee per calendar year. Your contribution must be made directly to an organization that is recognized by the IRS as a charitable, scientific, educational or other organization as described in Section 501(c)(3).
